Personal Shopper is leading sales deals in MK2.
French mini-major MK2 has scored massive pre-sales across its slate, leading with Olivier Assayas’ “Personal Shopper,” starring Kristen Stewart; Stephane Brize’s “A Woman’s Life”; Serge Bozon’s “Mrs. Hyde,” with Isabelle Huppert and Gerard Depardieu; and Dominique Abel and Fiona Gordon’s “Lost in Paris.”
Spearheaded by newly appointed head of sales, Fionnuala Jamison, MK2 has sold “Personal Shopper,” a Paris-set English-language ghost story taking place in the fashion world, to South Korea (Challan), the Searchers (Benelux), Switzerland (Filmcoopi), Singapore (Chaw), Middle East (Shooting Stars) and Hong Kong (Bravos). IFC has North American rights. Les Films du Losange will distribute in France.
The movie was produced by Charles Gillibert’s CG Cinema (“Mustang”). Pic has recently wrapped shooting.
