American Horror Story is building up quite the head of steam as we move to a month away from its likely bloody return to TV for season 8.
First things first American Horror Story will definitely survive the apocalypse with the show being renewed for 10 before the season 8 premiere. FX previously announced the seasons 8 and 9 renewal so the show isn’t going anywhere soon even if creator Ryan Murphy starting a new production deal with streaming giant Netflix.
At the Television Critics Association we learned more about season 8 and its blending of previous seasons. Sarah Paulson is set for triple duty playing three characters Murder House‘s Billie Dean, Coven‘s Cordelia and a third character named Venerable.
Other casting snippets revealed by the TCA tour include Leslie Grossman is playing Coco St. Pierre Vanderbilt; Billie Lourd is “Mallory, just Mallory”; Adina Porter is playing Dinah Stevens; and Emma Roberts is back as Coven‘s Madison Montgomery. Finally Paulson herself revealed that Jessica Lange would be returning to the series after roes in seasons 1-4.
