Ben Schwartz Set To Voice Lead In SONIC THE HEDGEHOG Film

Ben Schwartz is set to voice Sonic in the upcoming live action hybrid Sonic The Hedgehog project.

Ben Schwartz is currently voicing Dewey Duck on Disney Channel’s reboot of Duck Tales and will voice Leonardo in Nickelodeon’s Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Jeff Fowler who previously directed Oscar Nominated animated short Gopher Broke will direct. Neal H. Moritz is producing with Deadpool director Tim Miller executive producing, along with Toby Ascher.

Sega launched the Sonic game in 1991 and has sold more than 360 million copies to date, including both packaged and digital games on consoles, tablets, and mobile.

Sonic the Hedgehog is set for release on Nov. 15, 2019.
