Carrie is set for a limited series adaption at FX it has emerged.

Development on the project is in its early stages but it seems that the recent success of Castle Rock may have prompted renewed interest in adapting King’s properties for TV. As well as the aforementioned show on Hulu there is a Jerusalem’s Lot project being developed at Epix as well as The Stand being developed at CBS All Access which stars Greg Kinnear, Alexander Skarsgard, James Marsden, Amber Heard, and Whoopi Goldberg.

Carrie has been a go-to source for adaption over the years starting with the cult hit 1976 adaption directed by Brian De Palma then later the Broadway musical adaption Carrie: The Musical which debuted in 1988.
