CBS has decided to call it quit on two of its lower rated shows Training Day and Ransom.
These cancellations means things at the network are set in stone now with no shows left that are unsure of their status.
Training Day saw dropping viewer figures and of course the death of its lead Bill Pullman which led to the decision to discontinue to the drama based on the film of the same name.
Ransom premiered in January and averaged 3.5 million total viewers with a 0.4 demo rating in its Saturday time slot. The show was a joint international production with Canada and France is inspired by the professional experiences of crisis negotiator Laurent Combalbert who with his partner, Marwan Mery, are among the top negotiators in the world. Together, they travel around the globe to help multinational corporations and governmental agencies with complex negotiations and conflict resolution.
