Chicago Justice joins NBC’s network and joins the Chicago franchise!
Dick Wolf’s Chicago procedural franchise is expanding to four series. The legal offshoot Chicago Justice, whose characters were introduced on the Chicago PD episode last night, has been picked up to series by NBC, the first new drama series order at the network this season, besides the straight-to-series Taken and Emerald City.
Chicago Justice, toplined by Philip Winchester, revolves around Chicago State’s Attorney’s team of prosecutors and investigators as they navigate heated city politics and controversy head-on while fearlessly pursuing justice. It joins the mothership Chicago Fire and fellow spinoffs Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med.
Chicago Justice stars Winchester, Carl Weathers, Nazneen Contractor, Joelle Carter and Ryan-James Hatanaka. Wolf, Peter Jankowski, Matt Olmstead, Derek Haas, Michael Brandt and Arthur Forney executive produce for Universal Television and Wolf Entertainment.
