The Television Critics Association was venue for the announcement of CW’s DC slate crossover event and we have the dates.
It looks like the CW are really looking to take the crossover event to the next level with the shows being move around their schedule especially for the occasion. On Monday 27 November Supergirl and Arrow will run back to back and kick off the crossover then it will conclude on Tuesday 28 November with The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.
Mark Pedowitz, CW President release a statement on the decision to change the schedule for the crossover:
“Last year’s (crossover) was the most successful week in CW history in terms of ratings and everything. We felt in this particular case we had Flash on Legends paired, so it was better to make it two two-hour movies – a miniseries – we thought this was the best way to go. We had a lot of conversations with producers and marketing people. Next year, we might go back to four nights.”
