Deadline reported, Darby Stanchfield (Scandal) has been cast in indie film Justine along with newcomer Daisy Prescott.
Stanchfield will play Alison Green, who was described as “the refined, pretty, uptight mother of Justine.” The film will be directed by Stephanie Turner, who wrote the script and will play the lead.

The film follows Lisa Wade (Turner), a single mom who is forced to move in with her father-in-law after the death of her husband. She takes a job as a caretaker to Justine, a young girl with Spina Bifida, in what turns out to be a racist household. At first an unlikely pair, the two become friends and ultimately help one another grow and change.
