David Tennant to Star in New ITV Drama about Serial Killer Dennis Nilsen

David Tennant (Doctor Who) has been cast in ITV drama “Des.”

Tennat is set to play Dennis Nilsen, a Scottish serial killer who murdered numerous young men in 1970s to 1980s in London, England. 

The cast also include Jason Watkins (The Crowns) who will play Brian Masters, who wrote a biography of Des while Daniel Mays (Line of Duty) will play Detective Chief Inspector Peter Jay, the cop who investigated the case.

The series will have three parts, based from the book of Maters’ titled “Killing for Company.”
