Fox 2000 Bought The Film Rights of Walt Becker’s Upcoming YA Fantasy Novel



According to Deadline, Fox 2000 bought the film rights of Walt Becker’s upcoming YA fantasy novel, Charlie Paris And The Young Ambassadors. Becker is most known for his work,  Alvin And The Chipmunks: The Road Chip. You can read the full scoop below:

Fox 2000 has acquired rights to the upcoming novel from writer-director Walt Becker, the YA fantasy Charlie Paris And The Young Ambassadors.Scribe Joe Ballarini set to adapt it into a feature film that Becker will direct. Karen Rosenfelt is aboard as producer.

Charlie Paris centers on a middle school genius of the same name who finds himself transported via his missing father’s mysterious invention into the midst of an intergalactic conflict. Recruiting a small staff of his friends, the young ambassadors will have to navigate galactic politics, and each other, as they find a way to save their universe.
