Fox Cancels SLEEPY HOLLOW After Four Seasons

Sleepy Hollow has finally come to an end after a rather torrid four season journey with Fox confirming its cancellation.

Sleepy Hollow came out of nowhere back in 2013 with a 13 episode run that managed to combine kooky and spooky with two charismatic leads with instant chemistry. Then things got a little weird after that with huge swings in direction with new showrunners and then at the end of Season 3 with the exit of one of the two leads Nicole Beharie. Most fans thought that would be the end but Fox decided to continue on with the ordering of a new shorter season (Season 2 and 3 were extended to 18 episodes each) and a new female lead in the form of Janina Gavankar (Star Wars: Battlefront II). Unfortunately the ratings told a story with a drop of around 40% both in demo and viewers from the previous season.
