Wayward Pines is officially cancelled Fox have finally confirmed.

The show based on the novel series of the same name last aired 2016 but Fox had made some suggestions that it might not be dead during the TCA press tour last year. Unfortunately it seems that hope is now firmly quashed.

Wayward Pines began as a Secret Service agent who discovers strange happenings in a small Idaho town. It went on to become an interesting Sci-Fi/dystopian study on the nature of humanity. M Night Shymalan was a driving force for the show in the first season before its soft reboot in season 2.
