Freeform Cancels BEYOND After Two Seasons

Freeform haven’t left Beyond fans in dout for very long announcing the cancellaton of the Sci-Fi/Fantasy show a week after the season two finale.

Beyond starred Burkely Duffield as Holden Matthews a man who awakens from a 12 year coma with mysterious new powers and become embroiled in a conspiracy involving a dangerous religious cult. The show also starred Dilan Gwyn, Jordan Calloway, Jonathan Whitesell, Michael McGrady, Romy Rosemont, Jeff Pierre, and Eden Brolin.

The series struggled in the Nielsen Live+Same Day ratings during its second season, with a per episode average of just a 0.08 rating in adults 18-49 and 244,000 viewers per episode. That represents a drop off of nearly 50% in the key demo and over 50% in total viewers compared to the show’s first season.

The first season released a number of episodes during its premiere week something the second season did not do. We’ll never know if that could have helped out the show.
