It looks like another horror staple is being revived as Friday The 13th eyes a potential reboot.
Roy Lee’s Vertigo Entertainment and LeBron James’ SpringHill Entertainment are in talks to acquire the rights to a new “Friday the 13th” movie. It seems like the recent success of the Halloween reboot has inspired other franchises to step up. The film will likely feature the goalie-mask wearing mass murderer Jason Voorhees, who has been the center of the hit franchise since the 1980 original. No writers or directors have been attached at this initial stage.
