HBO has renewed their drama Euphoria starring Zendaya for season two as it continues its season one run.
Euphoria follows Rue (Zendaya), a 17-year-old high school student fresh out of rehab who soon falls back into her old drug-using ways.HBO’s executive vice-president of programming Francesca Orsi released the following statement:
“Euphoria creator Sam Levinson has built an incredible world with an extraordinary cast led by the supremely talented Zendaya. We are so grateful that he chose HBO as the home for this groundbreaking series. We look forward to following these complex characters as their journeys continue through the challenging world they inhabit.”
Hunter Schafer co-stars as Rue’s new best friend Jules; Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Alexa Demie and Sydney Sweeney also star. The last episode is set to air on August 4, 2019.
