Invasion horror Tone Deaf has cast Amanda Crew and Robert Patrick in starring roles.
Tone Deaf follows a woman (played by Amanda Crew) who leaves for a a quiet weekend in the country after losing her job and imploding her latest dysfunctional relationship. She rents a country house from an old-fashioned widower, played by Patrick, who’s struggling to hide his psychopathic tendencies. Soon, two generations collide with terrifying results in this home invasion horror film that is also a darkly comedic critique of the bizarre cultural and political climate.
Production on the film has already begun with Ricky Bate Jr. set to direct. Crew is known for her role in HBO’s Silicon Valley while Patrick can be seen on CBS show Scorpion.
