The author of “Harry Potter” J.K. Rowling announced a new children’s book, “The Ickabog.”
According to the article, this new novel’s setting doesn’t take place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
“‘The Ickabog’ is a story about truth and the abuse of power,” Rowling said. “To forestall one obvious question: the idea came to me well over a decade ago, so it isn’t intended to be read as a response to anything that’s happening in the world right now. The themes are timeless and could apply to any era or any country.”
The book is aimed at children aged 7 to 9, you can now read the first two chapters of “The Ickabog” online for free. There will be a daily installment.
The Ickabog will be officially published in November, all the proceeds will be donated to communities that’s been affected by coronavirus.
