James Wolk Joins HBO’s WATCHMEN Project

James Wolk (Zoo) is set to recur on the Watchmen drama series based on the comic book series of the same name.

The Watchmen comic series was considered a dark take on the superhero genre when it was released and the series promises to maintain that following a story of an alternate world where superheroes have long been considered outlaws.

No details have been revealed about the character Wolk will be playing but we do know that it will be a major recurring role and that the actor will be joining Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Andrew Howard, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers and Dylan Schombing.

Lindelof executive produces with Nicole Kassell, who directed the pilot, Tom Spezialy, director Stephen Williams and Joseph Iberti. 

Watchmen is set to  ome to HBO in some time in 2019.
