Jennifer Beals and Peter Gallagher have been cast in the film adaptation of novel ‘After.’
Based from the bestselling series of Anna Todd, the novel is initially started as an online fan-fiction on Wattpadd before Simon & Schuster acquired the publishing rights.
Josephine Langford has been tap to play Tessa, the heroine of the story, while Hero Fiennes Tiffin is playing Hardin; the love interest. The premise of the film will center around the girl-next-door protagonist and how she met the broody-mysterious hero.
Directed by Jenny Gage, Gallagher is attached to play Ken Scott; the father of Hardin. He’s the chancellor of the university Hardin and Tessa attends. He has a complicated relationship with his son, which is what Karen Gibson (Beals) is trying to mend.
