About Stand Up for Pits:
Stand Up For Pits is the funnest event on planet earth. Saving lives through laughter is about as good as it gets. You don’t have to be a Pit Bull lover or owner to come laugh and make a difference. Stand Up For Pits has been selling out cities around the country for almost 5 years. The events include great hosts, videos and brilliantly talented comedians. The proceeds from the events benefit the Stand Up For Pits Foundation, as well as several Pibble rescues around the country, all of which bring Pibbles available for adoption to the event before the show. There is always an amazing silent auction and merchandise available for sale. An hour before the show the queen herself, Angel, steps into the kissing booth and hands out her magical kisses all for only $1, then a hilarious 90 minute show follows!
The Stand Up for Pits Foundation have also created a dog fighting tip line for the Los Angeles County area. Please share this number with your LA friends and report any suspicious activity immediately – 877-777-2585.
For all other areas, if you suspect someone is fighting dogs call 911 and 1-877-TIP-HSUS. All tips leading to an arrest or conviction will get up to a $5000 reward, so the more information you can provide, the better.
