Kevin Dillon and DeRon Horton have been cast as the leads in Dirt!
Entourage alum Kevin Dillon and newcomer DeRon Horton have been cast as the leads in Dirt, a drama from director Alex Ranarivelo. Forrest Lucas is financing the film and will produce alongside his ESX Entertainment partner Ali Afsha
Dirt centers on Dez Truss (Horton), a 17-year-old who is caught boosting cars for an auto-theft ring and is given one last chance to set his life straight by a compassionate mentor. He introduces the kid to Rick Radden (Dillon), a former race car-driver-turned team owner who agrees to house and supervise Dez for the summer in exchange for manual labor. Dez begins working for Rick’s professional but underperforming dirt-racing team, using the skills he honed while stealing cars. He becomes a vital member of the team but not before his past threatens the safety of Rick’s family and livelihood.
The cast also includes Christina Moore, Matthew Glave, Dominic Devore, Blake Heron, Lexy Panterra and Devon Long.
