The Elizabeth Banks directed Charlie’s Angels reboot is in talks with Kristen Stewart and Lupita Nyong’o.
The female fronted action show originally ran from 1976-1981 and starred Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, and Jaclyn Smith and inspired the first film adaption in 2000 which went on to spawn a sequel, those films starred Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore and made a combined $500+ million worldwide.
Stewart known for her role as Bella in the YA adaption Twilight franchise will next be soon be seen in thriller Underwater. Nyong’o will next be seen in Marvel’s Black Panther.
The reboot is set for release on June 7, 2019 release.
