Lily Collins will star in Marti Noxons dark comedy To the Bone, with Bonnie Curtis, Julie Lynn and Karina Miller producing.
To the Bone is inspired by Noxons own struggles with anorexia. Variety reported on March 15 that she would direct from her own script.

I believe this film has the potential to shine a light on something thats becoming more prevalent within our society every day and let those suffering know theyre not alone, said Collins.
Lynn and Curtis of Mockingbird Pictures will produce along with Miller, who is also financing through her company Sparkhouse Media. Principal photography will commence at the end of March in Los Angeles.
Sparkhouse Media is a newly launched Los Angeles-based production and finance company headed by Miller and her husband, financier Talal AlAbbar. The company currently develops, produces and finances projects for film, television and theater, with the feature division producing three to five films per year with budgets up to $30 million.
Noxon has accumulated producing and writing credits on a wide assortment of TV series, including Mad Men, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Greys Anatomy and Private Practice. Shes exec producing and writing Bravos Girlfriends Guide to Divorce and Lifetimes UnReal along with serving as an executive producer on the CBS medical drama Code Black.
Collins credits include her role as Snow White in the fantasy film Mirror Mirror along with The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, Stuck in Love, The English Teacher and Love, Rosie.
