Maya Rudolph Joins Melissa McCarthy in ‘The Happytime Murders’

Deadline reported, Maya Rudolph has been cast in “The Happytime Murders.”

She’s joining her pal Melissa McCarthy.

Brian Henson is attached to direct from a script by Todd Berger, Dee Robertson, Erich and Jon Hoeber, and McCarthy.

According to the article, the movie is about “two clashing detectives, one human and the other a puppet, who are forced to work together to find the killer who’s murdering the former cast of “The Happytime Gang,” a classic puppet show.”
