Netflix to Adapt ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’


Variety reported, Netflix is adapting classic children’s series “The Chronicles of Narnia.” 

The streaming service announced its plan to develop a new series and film projects based on the books. 

Mark Gordon of Entertainment One are producing along executive producers Douglas Gresham and Vincent Sieber.

The last The Chronicles of Narnia adaptation is the 2005-2010 film franchise, which starred Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes, William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, and Ben Barnes, Will Poulter, Tilda Swinton, and Liam Neeson.

Written by C.S. Lewis, there’s no slated release date for the planned series.
