New IT Adaption Casts Pennywise The Clown


Bill Skarsgard is stepping up in the horror game it seems as the Hemlock Grove alum has been cast in Stephen King’s It.


Skarsgard is said to be in final talks to star in the horror remake. If he signs on the dotted line he will join Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs and Jeremy Ray Taylor.

Andy Muschietti, known for Mama, will direct the story of a group of teens called the Losers Club who defeat a creature called It. Years later, the creature returns, and the former club members, now adults, have to band together again even though they have no memory of the first battle.

There will be two films in this adaption with the first dealing with the children’s story and the second the adult perspective.
