Paramount Acquires YA novel ‘Labyrinth Lost’

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the first book in Zoraida Cordova’s YA series about witches has been acquired by Paramount. The novel is set in Brooklyn which follows the story of Alejandra Mortiz, who comes from a powerful generation of witches. At her Deathday celebration, she casts a spell that strips her power while her whole family vanishes into a limbo. 

Now, she must find her family into the underworld of Los Lagos with a brujo boy Nova and her best friend Rishi.

As of right now, Labyrinth Lost doesn’t have any writer or producers attached to the project.
