Renewal Roundup: 3 Shows Get Renewed


Three very different shows will be back for a new season and we have the details below.


Comedy Baby Daddy has been quietly chugging along with respectable ratings and now it has been confirmed for a 6th season by Freeform. Baby Daddy follows Ben (Jean-Luc Bilodeau), a young man in New York City living a bachelor’s life with his buddy, Tucker (Tahj Mowry), and his brother, Danny (Derek Theler), a professional hockey player. Their lives are turned upside down when they came home one day to find a baby girl left on the doorstep by an ex-girlfriend of Ben’s.


Preacher is just starting out only a few episodes into its first season but the show has already established itself as something special and has earned an extended second season run of 13 episodes with AMC.

Preacher based on the graphic novel is a supernatural and darkly comedic drama that follows a Texas preacher named Jesse Custer, played by Dominic Cooper, who is inhabited by a mysterious entity called Genesis that gives him the power to make people do whatever he commands.


Film to TV adaption 12 Monkeys has been renewed for Season 3 by Syfy, the show follows the journey of Cole (Aaron Stanford), a time traveler sent back in time from a dark, hellish future to prevent it from ever happening. Joining forces in the present with Dr. Railly (Amanda Schull), Cole must defeat a centuries-old malevolent organization known as the Army of the 12 Monkeys.
