Rosemarie DeWitt Joins Hulu’s ‘Little Fires Everywhere’ by Celeste Ng



Deadline reported, Rosemarie DeWitt has been cast as the lead star in Hulu’s ‘Little Fires Everywhere.’

DeWitt is joining the cast Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington, she’s set to play Linda McCullough; her character is the best friend of Elena (Witherspoon).

Based from the novel of highly acclaimed author Celeste Ng, you can read the premise below:

DeWitt will play Linda McCullough, Elena’s (Witherspoon) best friend. After longing for a child for decades and suffering losses no mother should suffer, Linda happily and wholeheartedly takes in an infant who was abandoned at a local fire station. Linda names the baby Mirabelle and loves her as her own, but when Mirabelle’s biological mother — a Chinese immigrant who’s in the country illegally — resurfaces, Linda becomes anguished and paranoid at the prospect of losing her daughter.

Witherspoon are producing through her banner Hello Sunshine, with Washington under Simpson Street and Pilar Savone.
