Rufus Sewell & Kaya Scodelario to Star in BBC Adaptation of Agatha Christie’s ‘The Pale Horse’


Variety reported, Rufus Sewell and Kaya Scodelario have been cast to star in BBC’s series adaptation of “The Pale Horse” by Agatha Christie.

Sewell will star as Mark Easterbrook, who has been described as “a man trying to uncover the mystery of a list of names found on a dead woman.” Scodelario will potray Hermia, the girlfriend of Easterbrook.

The Pale Horse will premiere in BCC in the UK and Amazon Prime Video in the U.S.

The series follows Easterbrook as his investigation into the list of names leads him to a peculiar English village, Much Deeping. It is the home of a trio of rumored witches, played by Rita Tushingham (“Vera”), Sheila Atim (“Girl From the North Country”) and Kathy Kiera Clarke (“Derry Girls”).
