Selma Blair has been added to the cast of After.
Based from the bestselling series of Anna Todd, the novel is initially started as an online fan-fiction on Wattpadd before Simon & Schuster acquired the publishing rights.
Josephine Langford has been tap to play Tessa, the heroine of the story, while Hero Fiennes Tiffin is playing Hardin; the love interest. The premise of the film will center around the girl-next-door protagonist and how she met the broody-mysterious hero.
As reported by Deadline, Blair has been cast as Carol Young, the protective mom of Tessa. Her character disapproves of Hardin.
After is slated to be released on April 12.
