Showtime’s HOUSE OF LIES Cancelled


After 5 seasons House of Lies on Showtime, the show is coming to an end it has been revealed.


Showtime president and CEO David Nevins has this to say about the comedy starring Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell.

House of Lies is a comedy that has frequently been ahead of the curve, over the course of its five seasons, it has tackled such hot-button topics as gender identity, wealth inequality, white privilege, police brutality, interracial relationships and code-switching with honesty and a biting sense of humor. Matthew Carnahan and Don Cheadle have been dream partners and impeccable leaders. The core cast of Don, Kristen [Bell], Ben [Schwartz] and Josh [Lawson] are one of the best comedy teams on television. They have brought the series to an incredibly satisfying conclusion with this historic final episode shot in Cuba.”

The show will be back for a 5th and final season which includes a finale filmed in Cuba. Cheadle was most recently seen reprising his role as Lt. James Rhodes/War Machine while Kristen Bell is set to star in a new comedy alongside Ted Danson called The Good Place.
