Sky Renews ‘A Discovery of Witches’ for Seasons 2 & 3 amid US Premiere


Sky One has officially ordered Season 2 and 3 of ‘A Discovery of Witches‘ amid its US premiere. 

Produced by Bad Wolf, the series is based from the best-selling-supernatural series of Deborah Harkness named ‘All Souls Trilogy.’ Starring Teresa Palmer, who plays  Diana Bishop, a historian witch who’s reluctant to use her powers and Matthew Goode, who plays Matthew Clairmont, an ancient vampire.

Goode and Palmer are set to reprise their role for the following season along with Owen Teale, Alex Kingston, Lindsay Duncan, Valarie Pettiford, Edward Bluemel, Aiysha Hart and more.

Sarah Dollard (Doctor Who) and Susie Conklin (The Musketeers) are attached to write season two. Deborah Harkness, the author of the book series, will also serve as an executive producer along with the co-founders of Bad Wolf.

A Discovery of Witches is set to premiere in the U.S. on January 17, 2019 via Sundance Now and Shudder.
