Sterling K. Brown, Charlie Day, Jenny Slate and Jeff Goldblum Join ‘Hotel Artemis’


An extensive ensemble cast has joined Academy Award winner Jodie Foster in Drew Pearce’s much-anticipated directorial debut Hotel Artemis. Golden Globe Nominee Sterling K. Brown (“American Crime Story”), Charlie Day (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”), Jenny Slate (Landline, Obvious Child), Academy Award Nominee Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park franchise) have joined the cast which also includes Dave Bautista and Sofia Boutella.  Golden Globe and Emmy winner Marc Platt (“La La Land,” “Grease: Live”) is producing alongside Adam Siegel and The Ink Factory’s Stephen Cornwell and Simon Cornwell. 

WME Global handling U.S. rights. Lionsgate launched international sales on The Ink Factory financed and produced action thriller in Berlin in February.

Penned by Pearce and set in the near future, Hotel Artemis follows a nurse (Foster) who runs an underground hospital for Los Angeles’ most sinister criminals, and finds that one of her patients is actually there to assassinate another.

Brown won an Emmy for his performance in “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” and stars in NBC’s Golden Globe nominated dramedy hit, “This Is Us.” He recently wrapped production on Marvel Studios’ much-anticipated Black Panther, can next be seen in Marshall which Open Road will be releasing this Fall and is currently in production on Twentieth Century Fox’s The Predator

Best known for his role as Charlie Kelly on FX’s hit comedy series “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” Day most recently starred in Richie Keen’s Fist Fight for Warner Bros. and John Krasinski’s The Hollars for Sony Pictures Classics. He will next be seen in Universal Pictures’ Pacific Rim: Uprising

Slate can next be seen in Landline which reteams her with the filmmakers behind Obvious Child.  She stars opposite Zachary Quinto and Jon Hamm in Aardvark which premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and opposite Jack Black in Polka King which premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival. 

Goldblum can currently be seen in Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and is in post-production on Thor: Ragnarok and in production on the Untitled Jurassic World Sequel for Universal Pictures.
