In a move that surprised no one Netflix has renewed Stranger Things for Season Three.
Season 2 of the fan favourite show set more than a few plotlines dangling at the end of Season Two and set Social Media alight with commentary (and memes). Stranger Things also managed to match its 94% Rotten Tomatoes from the first season and will likely see an increase on the 5 emmy wins and 18 nominations when the awards show comes around again.
In a small town where everyone knows everyone, a peculiar incident starts a chain of events that leads to the disappearance of a child – which begins to tear at the fabric of an otherwise peaceful community. Dark government agencies and seemingly malevolent supernatural forces converge on the town while a few locals begin to understand that there’s more going on than meets the eye.
Stranger Things stars Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Chief Jim Hopper, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Dacre Montgomery as Billy, and Sadie Sink as Max.
The series also features Matthew Modine as Dr. Martin Brenner, Paul Reiser as Dr. Sam Owens, and Sean Astin as Bob Newby.
