Netflix have announced the voice cast for their upcoming prequel to the Dark Crystal called The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance.
The Dark Crystal is one of Jim Henson’s best known film titles and came out in 1982. The prequel will feature the voices of Mark Hamill (Star Wars), Caitriona Balfe (Outlander), Andy Samberg (Brooklyn 99) and Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones).
Here’s the early synopsis:
When three Gelfling discover the horrifying secret behind the Skeksis’ power, they set out on an epic journey to ignite the fires of rebellion and save their world.”
Other voice cast include Helena Bonham-Carter Harris Dickinson, Eddie Izzard, Theo James, Toby Jones, Shazad Latif, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Mark Strong. Alicia Vikander, Harvey Fierstein, Ralph Ineson, Jason Isaacs, Keegan-Michael Key, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Simon Pegg and Donna Kimball.
