We now have a lead for the upcoming Star Wars universe based series The Mandalorian.
Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones) will star in the new live action Stars Wars show after being chosen from a wide range of possible actors and is now in negotiations.
One of the new properties set to debut on Disney+, Jon Favreau penned the series which is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. It follows the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
Favreau is also executive producing the show, along with Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist will serve as co-executive producer. Dave Filoni (Star Wars Rebels) will direct the first episode with Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok), Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), and Deborah Chow set to direct future episodes.
