Younger has been renewed for a third season. Check out the news below!
“Younger” is going to grow a bit older at TV Land, as the cabler has renewed the series for Season 3. 12 new episodes have been greenlit.
The third season renewal, announced Wednesday at the Television Critics Association press tour in Pasadena, Calif., comes ahead of the second season premiere, which is next week on Jan. 13.
Hailing from creator Darren Star, “Younger” stars Sutton Foster, Hillary Duff, Debi Mazar, Nico Tortorella, Miriam Shor, Molly Bernard, Peter Hermann and Dan Amboyer, who were all at TCA when the renewal announcement was made.
“‘Younger’ was a critical success and fan favorite right out of the gate, and Darren Star and his team of writers have brought an even sexier, shocking sophomore season to the table,” said Keith Cox, exec vice president of development and original programming at TV Land. “We’re thrilled with the show and what it’s done for the network, and we’re so confident in our viewers’ passion for it. We’re excited for our audience to see season two and beyond.”
In the fan-favorite and well-reviewed comedy, Foster stars as Liza, a 40-year old woman who pretends to be 26 in order to get a job in the highly competitive world of publishing.
